| A very cold day hiking the Appalachian Trail. Stopping to refill and purify our water, I was able to get this shot of Missy looking over at me. She normally runs away when she sees my camera or turns her head, but I was able to get this one. It ended up being one of my top 5 favorite shots from that hiking adventure. |

Lost pup FOUND!!!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to let all of you know that the lost chocolate lab has been reunited with his owner. Thank you so much for passing along my blog post, reposting it, and for blasting everyone you know in Annapolis with my email that I sent out! I really appreciate it. I'm so happy that we were able to find the owner. He was very thankful and happy that he was in safe hands. The pups name is Porter! Great name! Thanks again for all the help!

No name & No collar. Male Chocolate lab found in Annapolis, MD near College Ave on Sunday, Feb 6th around 8pm. He is very well behaved, seems to be housebroken, and so far seems to get along with all animals & people. Please contact me if you know anything about this dog or know his owner. Land riding = Stoked!
So I'm drinkin' my coffee this morning, surfin' the web, having a quite morning with my pups and randomly discover SUP for land riding. Ummm.... STOKED! Yea, I might be a little behind on discovering this, but I don't live on the wonderful island of Oahu anymore, so this sort of information doesn't get to me as quickly as it did when I was living there. I'm just happy I'm finding out about it now! So... I love love love paddling and I love long boarding, so this just makes it that much better! I can't wait to try it! I'm so excited about it that I had to share it with all of you! So now I get to ride on land and water! Reading about all this just made me crave warm sunshine and makes me want to dip out of this slushy winter weather... come on at least give us powder!
Sweet... check it out! Now I just have to decide if I want to get a bamboo stick or the classic!
